No trip to Malta would be complete without a trip to see our 7,000-year old temples – the oldest freestanding stone structures in the world. You’ll find them in the south of Malta, as well as over on Gozo.

Malta’s capital was originally known as the ‘city built for gentleman by gentleman’ and it still has a very sophisticated aura to it. There are numerous historical and cultural highlights to be enjoyed here – as well as fantastic spots for shopping and dining.

Also known as the ‘Silent City’, Mdina is still home to many of the island’s noble families. With beautiful Baroque culture and some fabulous museums to explore, this walled city is a must-visit.

Historically- and architecturally-rich, the Three Cities make for a wonderful day out. Start in Vittoriosa where old meets new on the super yacht marina, and then take a little boat across to Senglea or round to Cospicua.

Designed and built during the Knights of St John’s stay in Malta, this church is an architectural gem. Situated along the main thoroughfare in Valletta, it also houses one of Europe’s most impressive and famous art works: Caravaggio’s Beheading of St John the Baptist – the only known signed artwork by the artist.

The Maltese Islands have regularly been named as one of the top diving destinations in the world – and with good reason! With numerous wrecks to explore, crystal clear waters and rich and varied sea life, there’s a lot to be experienced below the surface. 

Malta’s littler sister island, Gozo, has a dynamic personality all of its own. The 25-minute ferry across the water to Gozo makes for an easy trip, and there are a variety of historic and cultural attractions to enjoy here. A fantastic day trip.

The Maltese countryside is absolutely beautiful and many areas are completely unspoilt. If you want to make the most of the great outdoors, we recommend that you head up north to Mellieha or Marfa, or down south to Marsascala or Birzebbugia.

Every October sees a very different kind of grand prix whizz along the Maltese streets – a vintage grand prix! Held beneath the Mdina Bastions, there’s no doubt that this is one of the most scenic car races anywhere in the world.

World-famous for its turquoise waters, this tiny bay in Comino – Malta’s other little sister island – is an absolute gem. Comino does get very busy during the summer months, so we recommend this as the ideal day trip in autumn.
